Need help upping your fundraising game? Below are tools for you to download and use to Level Up and raise more funds (and climb the leaderboard).

5 ways to maximise your fundraising

Raise awareness - Tell your story

You signed up to this challenge because you believe that all young people should have access to Wi-Fi regardless of their background; not everybody feels the same way. People will give more if they know why you care. The fact is, there’s a generation of vulnerable youngsters like those we support, who are missing out on improving their digital skills and their futures.

But as a gamer you also know it’s about more than that. Access to the internet provides a distraction on the bad days, a community to turn to when you’re lonely and, let's be honest, a whole lot of fun - everybody deserves to experience that.

Share early. Share shamelessly!

Be sure to upload a profile pic as soon as you create your JustGiving page and share that page everywhere; on social media, to your subscribers, via email, carrier pigeon – you name it. Worried that you’re spamming people? Don’t be. We want you to keep us updated on your progress and your mates will want to follow your journey as well. Don't forget to use #LU4F across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Power up that target

There’s nothing wrong with upping your goal whether that be the type of challenge or the amount you want to raise. In reality, people tend to donate less if they see you are very close to your target, so don't hesitate to raise the bar if you need to.

Continue...

An impressive 20% of donations come in after a challenge has finished, so keep reaching out even after that big boss has been battled – especially if you have some news or a funny story about what happened during your challenge to share with them. Maybe they'll dig even deeper.

End credits

This is an important one. There’s nothing more annoying than a cliff hanger - don't forget to say a massive thank you to your donors. And please thank them on behalf of Framework as well.
